American Sprint Boat Racing (ASBR) Launches 2023 Championship Sprint Boat Pro Racing Series

PORT ANGELES, Washington, March 29, 2023, — The American Sprint Boat Racing Association, ASBR, announces the launch of a professional, point series that will connect 2 ASBR sprint boat racing tracks with racers competing for cash and points towards season championship. The 2023 Series dates and locations are: Port Angeles, Washington, July 29-30, Ontario, Oregon August 12-13, Port Angeles, Washington September 9-10, and Ontario, Oregon September 30-October 1, 2023. Admission tickets & campground passes for the events are available by going to: Extreme Sports Park ESP Port Angeles Ontario Speedway ASB Sprint Boat Racing: HOME | Ontario Speedway ASBR principal partners and head of Operations, Dan Morrison and Doug Hendrickson have restructured the ASBR Association, and are excited to announce the addition of Gary Longley, as new principal partner and Director of Business Development, and Wendy Ervin, as Secretary and Media Director. Wendy brings experience through her years as an executive assistant, social media manager, and technical writer. Gary Longley is the owner of Longley Motorsports Marketing, has worked with some of the biggest names in Motorsports, and is a key figure in promotions for Pacific Raceways. As the founder of EF-65 Hand Cleaner, Gary has sponsored multiple forms of major motorsports teams from NHRA to NASCAR. Gary states, “After I attended my first ASBR sprint boat race in Port Angeles, I was hooked instantly after witnessing the unbelievable driving skills of these racers! This is the most exciting sports competition I have ever witnessed. I am honored to be a part of ASBR and will apply my skills to the goal of growing this extreme sport across the nation live, throughout the NW, and beyond.” ASBR is also proud to announce partnership with Stihl Corporation, and the signing of a multiyear contract as a new series title sponsor.  ASBR announces and welcomes the addition of the Ontario Speedway track this year, along with other track negotiations in the works, and to be later announced for the 2024 season. This year also brings the expansion of racing from a 1-day event to a 2-day event. The 1st day, Saturday, will be designated for Qualifications, with the 2nd day, Sunday for Eliminations & Finals.
